Last Friday saw the team visit Lancaster Escape who have recently opened up in Lancaster City Centre. They have three themed escape rooms to challenge you and we tried them all!
Upon arrival, we split into our designated teams before participating in a spot of crossbow challenge for which Duncan was the clear winner as he confirmed with his victory dance!
Following the team briefings, those who were participating in the Fun At The Fair room got suitably dressed before we all made our way to the rooms to commence the escaping.
An hour later and after a lot of head scratching, squabbling, problem-solving and cursing (by some) we all met up in the bar area for a drink and to share our experiences of how we got on.
It was clear that everyone had really enjoyed themselves and we concluded that it was also a great way to get people involved, in helping each other out and working as a team. Without that, I think a few of us would still be there right now!
For any work parties or groups of friends considering a visit to Lancaster Escape, we would highly recommend that like us you consider the catering options they have available to offer. We were really impressed with the standard of the food that was laid on for the team.
May we take this opportunity to thank Pete and all the staff at Lancaster Escape for their superb hospitality on the night. We would highly recommend that everyone gives the escape room experience a go. It is a great alternative to going to the cinema or straight out for a meal and the guys at Lancaster Escape will make sure you have a really fun time.
In the next month or two, we will be looking at running a competition in conjunction with Lancaster Escape to win an escape room experience in one of their three rooms. Details will be available on our website and on our Twitter page when it goes live.
